When we're not thinking about Demi Moore's adorable tiny dog, Pilaf, we're thinking about her chic style and great taste in manicures. This May, the actor made her return to the Cannes Film Festival in a selection of stunning gowns paired with a neutral and very trendy milky mani. Since then, we've been paying extra special attention to what manicure she'll co-sign next, and it's shaping up to be one of summer's most popular shades.
On May 28, Moore attended a panel for her FX show FEUD: Capote vs. The Swans in Los Angeles, alongside co-stars Naomi Watts, Tom Hollander, Diane Lane, and Chloë Sevigny. The show illustrates the life of Truman Capote and his relationship with high-society women in the 1950s and '60s. For the event, Moore went the method dressing route and opted for a monochromatic black outfit with a Swans-esque vintage veiled cocktail hat. The finishing piece to her look, however, was her chic red manicure.
Shaped in a square-almond hybrid, her pretty and simple nails featured a poppy red shade with slightly orange undertones. In the light, they had a glassy sheen that gave her nails an extra fancy feel. And, that was it! Her manicure was easygoing and nothing extraordinary, but it added the perfect pop of color to her otherwise all-black look.
Clearly, Moore has a love for minimalist manicures, and we can't blame her—they go with everything and add a certain put-togetherness to every look. Plus, it's a celeb favorite at the moment: Elsa Hosk and Selena Gomez wore red manicures to Cannes, Dua Lipa wore a moody red shade to the Gucci Cruise show.
Moore's glam was also on the simple side. She wore her hair in a low pony, tucked away under her hat and her complexion was super glowy and highlighted. Fluttery lashes added some drama to her look, and she tied it all together with a glossy lip.
