Rita Ora's Shimmery Floral Manicure Is Straight Out of a Fairy Tale

If you're up to date on your manicure news, you know by now that minimalist, barely-there nails have been abundant this summer. Sure, there's something easy about a subtle wash of pink or white polish, but intricate, thought-out nail designs are like wearing a work of art. Case in point: Rita Ora's pearlescent floral manicure that looks like it blossomed out of a fairy garden.

Ora's nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt, posted a close-up of the manicure on Instagram on June 24. Chrome nail looks can get repetitive, but Ora's definitely stood out amid a bevy of minimal manis.

Each of the singer's almond-shaped nails was coated with a different chrome hue. Ganzorigt used every color of the rainbow on Ora's nails, from pinks to oranges and greens. Some nails, like her pinky and middle finger, were painted only with chrome powder and polish. Others had more detail: her pointer finger on one hand was styled with a 3D chrome flower that was adorned with a gemstone in the middle. On another finger, her nail was painted in a French style with a colorful tip, shimmery base, and a flower detail in the center.

The 33-year-old debuted the manicure at her performance at Heart West Hollywood in Lost Angeles. She paired her nails with a sparkly sequin two-piece set featuring a purple-sequined nude bra with a matching skirt. Ora's aesthetic for the night put an edgy, party-ready feel on the sequin trend. For glam, she wore her hair in beachy waves, courtesy of hairstylist Rick Henry. Her crimped hair framed her face and illuminated her two-toned highlights. Makeup artist Chloe Rose created her frosty shimmery eyeshadow and smoked it out with a smudged eyeliner look. The finishing touch to her look was her glossy nude lip.
