Olivia Rodrigo Just Cosigned The Moody Manicure For Summer

Olivia Rodrigo is Gen Z's people's princess. Even when she's headlining a European world tour in a glittery outfit, she still feels relatable. What's even more relatable, however, is Rodrigo going against the grain of popular nail polish shades this summer and wearing a moody, simple manicure of her liking.

On June 11, Rodrigo posted a dump of photos showing the star hanging out with friends on a boat and exploring the city while on her European tour. Her simple manicure may have been missed by many, but not us. She was wearing simple black polish on her natural nails with no frills, mastering the minimalist mani trend with ease.

Basic manicures can feel boring, sure, but they are the most practical for every day. They're also so easy to wear—for those who don't feel comfortable in long nails or bold nail art, a simple swipe of dark polish can easily add a touch of edge to any outfit.
