If you're reading this, you likely have Sabrina Carpenter's "Please Please Please" stuck in your head. Carpenter's influencer is everywhere (literally). She just announced her "Short n' Sweet" tour across America and will headline the Bay Area's Outside Lands Music Festival later this summer. So, get your me-espresso ready, because we'd bet tickets to the shows will sell out fast. In the meantime, you can re-create, or admire, her Short n' Sweet manicure.
The singer made the official announcement on Instagram today and revealed that she'll be joined by supporting acts Declan Mckenna, Amaarae, and Griff. The North American tour will stop at most major cities, and the presale for the tour will start June 25. Of course, the tour poster featured her signature vintage aesthetic with Carpenter dressed in a pink lacey top with ultra-glowy cheeks and a sugary pink manicure.
Although it's tough to tell the exact style in the photos, her short almond-shaped nails had a pearly sheen to them. The pink polish looks sheer and glassy, and we'd wager they have a swipe of chrome powder or are finished with a pearly top coat. Her go-to nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt, hasn't confirmed that she's behind the manicure, but she did leave a sweet "Yay!" comment on Carpenter's post.
The 25-year-old opted for her go-to makeup that's come to define her style. An iridescent silver highlight was placed on the apples of her cheek on top of her flushed pink blush. She wore a glossy nude-toned lip look that added another layer of shine. Her wispy black lashes had a retro-feel and it looked like she wore a tiny bit of pink eyeshadow on her lid.
In both photos, Carpenter is styled in a nightgown-esque dress. Her wavy curtain bangs framed her face as usual, and the rest of her hair was styled in a pretty voluminous blow-out.
We'll keep this short and sweet—Carpenter's mani is so easy to re-create at home. If it sparked any inspiration, start with painting on a pastel pink polish first. Similar shades to hers include Olive & June's Strawberry Scone, and Cockatoo. Next, swipe on a sheer coat of shimmer, like Butter London's Sassy Lassie. And, voilá, you have a short n' sweet manicure.
