Hailey Bieber's Strawberry Shortcake Nails Are The Perfect Summer Pink

Rhode founder Hailey Bieber continues to co-sign the minimalist manicure wave. Her pearly, glazed nails and chrome manicures will never go out of style. And, they are admittedly pared back on the spectrum of nail designs. Yet, this summer, no-fuss manicures are everywhere—from white cloud nails to nude milky manicures, our favorite muses are opting for a less is more approach.

As the queen of product teases, Bieber has continued to give us sneak peeks of the new Rhode products that dropped today. Yesterday, June 19, the 27-year-old posted a slideshow of photos on Instagram in a chic neutral outfit with the perfect pop of pink. She paired her newly-released pink Rhode phone case with the matching Shortcake Peptide Lip Treatment and a glossy strawberry shortcake manicure.

From blush to lip gloss and nails, we know the Rhode founder loves a pink moment, and it always ends up inspiring seasonal manicure trends. For example, her pink pearl nails were last year's must-have manicure and her jelly-glazed nails were everywhere this spring. This summer, however, it seems as though she's leaving the shimmery top coats behind. The blush shade of pink painted on her almond-shaped nails is nearly nude and has a glossy top coat. And, that's it, that's the strawberry shortcake manicure.

In the campaign photos for the Pocket Blush launch, Bieber is also wearing a somewhat basic nail design. She styled a no-fuss neon orange manicure with baggy jeans and a grey t-shirt. While neons aren't the most subdued, achieving the nail look is as simple as a coat of polish, which makes it feel more easygoing than her intricate nail designs of the past.

Bieber's makeup also stuck to the pink palette. She's wearing a pink blush (we'd wager it's the Rhode Pocket Blush in Piggy) across her cheeks and on her nose. Her lips are ultra-glossy and she added a swipe of bronzy eyeshadow on her eyelids.

Are pink nails the most revolutionary? No, but Bieber's shortcake shade is so chic for summer. Plus, her basic mani is proof that sometimes less is more.
