Jennifer Aniston's Milky French Manicure Is So Rachel Green-Coded

Rachel Green's minimalist, preppy style is the epitome of a '90s Manhattanite, full of classic silhouettes and lots of little black dresses. Jennifer Aniston gets compared to her Friends character often, but it's because the two feel so connected on the style front. Aniston has recently brought back her iconic Rachel bob and her personal style relies on wardrobe classics just like Green's. Case in point: Aniston arrived at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles over the weekend looking like a modern-day Rachel Green and sporting this season's trendiest manicure.

On June 2, the actor arrived at an Emmys event to support her AppleTV+ series, The Morning Show, which she stars in alongside Reese Witherspoon. Looking at the photo you'd think it was a shot from Friends; Aniston is wearing an easygoing floral print dress with strappy heels and her bouncy, side-parted bob. And, if you needed another sign that the milky manicure was going to be summer's most popular style, look no further than Aniston, who wore the mani at the event.

ICYMI: Everyone is wearing a milky manicure. It's a soft, pearly white (hence the moniker) or slightly nude coat of polish that is painted on sheer. For the event, Aniston wore an off-white, nearly pink color that looked like it could be her natural nails. On the tips of her square nails was a super-thin coat of white polish that gave the appearance of a French manicure. Since the shades were so similar in color, it had a softer effect than a traditional French mani.

Add Aniston to the likes of Bella Hadid, Anne Hathaway, and Kaia Gerber who have all cosigned the milky mani this summer. If Rachel Green were on our TVs today, we'd wager she'd be sporting the style as well.

Aniston wore the Kourtney Midi Dress from Reformation, (another brand we'd know Green would adore). She paired it with red strappy heels and a black croc-effect bucket bag. Her outfit was giving lead actress in a rom-com in the best way. For glam, she stuck to her usual and opted for a glowing complexion with a touch of highlight and blush on her cheeks with fluttery lashes. She finished the look with a swipe of pink lipgloss.
