We'll Be Copying Jennifer Lopez's "Micro Shimmer" Manicure All Summer Long

If you ever are in a creative slump when it comes to your nails, look no further than Jennifer Lopez. We can always count on her to pop up with the coolest manicures when our inspiration is running low. Though she tends to favor minimal-yet-glam manis, she's tried every kind of nail art under the sun: red French tips, pearly nails, and sheer butterfly-inspired manis are just the tip of the iceberg. But no matter what she's rocking, she always turns to her go-to manicurist, who just gave us a sneak peek into Lopez's latest manicure.

Tom Bachik is J.Lo's favorite manicurist, but he also often collaborates with Selena Gomez, Demi Moore, and Camila Cabello, just to name a few.On May 30, Bachik posted a new set of nails from the This Is Me Now... singer to Instagram, and he's coining the style "Light and Diamonds."

The star's nearly-translucent mani is almost like an optical illusion. The color is so close to her skin tone that it looks like her nails have nothing on them, but the swipe of shimmer catches the light in the prettiest way. For the shape, J.Lo stuck to her go-to almond style. Lucky for us, Bachik provided a full breakdown of the products used in the caption.

To prep her nails and shape them into the classic almond style, Bachik used his Tweezerman x Tom Bachik Ultimate Nail Care Set. He then added length to her natural nails using Aprés Official Gel-X Tips, and while we're not sure of the exact shape, we're guessing it was the Almond Long. Next, he applied a super sheer coat of Aprés's Light and Shadow Gel in the shade Be Still to create the nude base. To top the nails off with some "micro shimmer," Bachik used the Kokoist Ultra Diamond Non-Wipe Coat.

In the photo, it appears as though J.Lo is wearing a green dress, similar to her iconic Versace moment. The up-close photo also gives us a closer look at her glam, which she's wearing a nude glossy lip and grey smoky eye.
