I’m a Beauty Editor, and These Press-On Nails Have Replaced My Manicure Appointments

They’re on sale at Sephora in the hottest spring designs and colors.

Glamnetics Press-On Review Tout

Byrdie / Daisy Rodriguez

Let me be the first to extend a warm welcome to spring beauty trends—with a special shout-out to nail art. After several months of muted, darker shades, it’s time for brighter hues, glitzy chrome manis, and reinvented French tips. The catch: Who wants to sit for hours in a manicure chair when they can be enjoying the warm weather? Luckily, you don’t need to, thanks to the Glamnetic Press-On Nail Kit.

Even better, the Sephora Spring Savings Event is making it easy to stock up on Glamnetic’s gorgeous sets for less, so you’ll have refills on deck all season long. The retailer’s semi-annual sale is exclusive to Beauty Insiders (a free membership program that anyone can sign up for), and your membership status will determine your sale access. Rouge members get 20% off sitewide, VIB members get 15% off, and Insiders get 10% off—just make sure to use the code YAYSAVE at checkout to redeem your discount.

The sale ends April 15, so now’s the time to shop. After testing these nails for weeks at a time and evaluating them on style, design, shape, length, fit, and durability, you can trust that when I say these are the nails I’ll be wearing all spring, I mean it.

Glamnetic Press-On Nail Kit in Entranced

FYI: I’m currently typing away with a set of Glamnetic nails on, and someone in the office just asked me where I got them done—they look that high-end. I’ve tried several press-on nail sets, and I always return to Glamnetics (clearly!) because they’re comfortable, fit my nail shape as if they were made for me, and last longer than other brands I’ve tried. Glamnetic offers an array of styles from opaque to semi-transparent, shapes like almond, coffin, oval, and round, and lengths from super short to long. And you can also pick from four finishes: chrome, glossy, matte, or velvet.

Six Glamnetic sets are available from Sephora, each boasting the season's hottest nail trends. My favorite pair is the Entranced Short Almond, which features a semi-transparent white and iridescent finish. My second pick is the Jelly Bean Short Oval, adorned with an abstract pastel design.

I find the nails last between one to three weeks, but you do have to prepare for a few touch-ups in that time span. If you take the time to apply them like a professional would (which will still cost you less time and money), they really do last. I like to cut and file my nails, push my cuticles back, apply cuticle oil, and then prep with the provided alcohol wipe. Sometimes, if the wipe seems a bit dry, I’ll use whatever nail polish remover I have on hand instead. Then I pick out which press-ons fit each nail before applying the glue straight to my nail and hold the fake nail in place for a minute. (And while I think the provided glue works great, I prefer to use this TikTok-viral Sally Hansen one and save the Glamnetic glue for on-the-go fixes.)

There you have it: a fresh, eye-catching set for weeks with a new style in line for your next refill. It’s really that easy—and a win for your wallet, too. Shop more discounted Glamnetic Press-On Nails at Sephora, below.
