About My Lashes: Medium-length and dark

I have almond-shaped eyes with dark eyelashes. They look their best once I apply mascara, and my favorite to use these days is the Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Mascara. I've loved false lashes since high school because they make my eyes pop. I even tried lash extensions, but I found that false lashes work just as great and allow you to take them off at the end of the day. I tried the new Kiss My Lash But Better lashes in the styles "All Mine" and "Blessed." Both state to have an everyday wearable volume with superfine band technology, and I was curious to see if they would fit my routine and goals.

How to Apply: With care

False lashes take a little more care to apply than other makeup products, but it's fairly simple if you follow the below steps.

1. Curl your lashes: Start with clean, makeup-free lashes, using an eyelash curler to prep.
2. Apply mascara: Next, apply a coat of mascara to your natural lashes for better adhesion.
3. Measure: It's important to measure your Kiss false lashes to your lash line. If necessary, trim the excess from the outside edge.
4. Apply adhesive: Then, apply a thin even layer of lash glue along your lash band. Allow it to sit for about 10-20 seconds to harden. 
5. Place your lashes: This step requires the most precision and patience, so take your time. You can use tweezers or your fingers to carefully place your false lashes near your natural lash line, press gently, and wait a few seconds. 
6. Blend and finish: I like to use my tweezers to blend the natural lashes with the false ones. You can also add another light coat of mascara to do this. Just make sure the corners are secure, and you're good to go.

The Results: Subtle glamour

The Kiss My Lash But Better false lashes have a thin band, which can be a good or bad thing. This type of lash can be great for achieving a natural look, but it's important to be cautious when removing the lashes from the packaging. The thin band helps to get close to the lash line, which helps achieve a natural look and wears comfortably.

I wore the lashes all day, and they didn't feel heavy on my eyes. The styles I tried created subtle glamour without being too dramatic. The style "Blessed" is wispy and long for an ideal going-out look—if I had to choose, it would be my favorite—while "All Mine" has a shorter, everyday feel. Both are great options for everyday use, and you can make them work for nighttime as well by adding eyeshadow or winged eyeliner.

The lashes were easy to remove, but because the band and lashes are thin and delicate, I had to be extra careful so I wouldn't rip them. Ultimately, I was able to reuse them at least three more times.
