"Creating Makeup By Mario was a goal I set for myself when I first became a professional artist. For years, people asked when I’d be ready [to launch my own brand], but it was important for me to get as much lived experience as possible and solidify my name in the industry first," explains Dedivanovic. Although he took his time to plan the launch of his empire, the ethos of the brand was always in the back of his mind. "I envisioned early on what the overall look and feel of the brand would be. I knew I wanted to help people recreate my signature techniques with smart products and minimal effort. The wait paid off because when I decided to take the leap, everything felt properly aligned."
