July is starting off with a bang, as we already have a new manicure trend from Hailey Bieber, and it's a little unexpected. If you're reading this, you likely know that the 27-year-old's go-to nail look includes a soft polish with a touch of chrome or glaze, but her latest manicure is so refreshingly different.
On June 28, the Rhode founder posted a shot of her nails to her Instagram story. The work of her go-to nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt, each of her "farmers market nails" was dotted with a miniature piece of produce.
When she doesn't go for chrome, Bieber does like a dainty design sprinkled over bare-looking nails. For example, just after announcing her pregnancy, she wore a delicate floral manicure (cherry blossoms, to be exact) on a trip to Japan.
This time, it looks as though Ganzorigt painted on Bieber's natural nails with just a base coat. Each nail was painted with a different fruit or veggie—her thumb had a red tomato, her pinky was decorated with a carrot, and so on. Ganzorigt's skills were on full display as each design was packed with real-life detail.
We'd assume that re-creating Bieber's nails would be pretty difficult without a serious art background, but thankfully, press-on styles such as Kiss's Vogueish Fantasy line in the style Be You features a similarly cute blueberry pattern, and OPI's xPRESS/On Nails in Tastes Like Strawberries feature cute strawberries. If fruit designs aren't your thing, take a page out of Bieber's book and wear your natural nails with dainty nail stickers, like these from Deco Beauty which come in fruit, flower, and heart designs.
