It's giving hurricane.

It feels like every time we see Billie Eilish, she has a new hair color. When she first rose to fame, she was known for an icy blue shade, but her most iconic look is probably the jet black with neon green roots that she switched to shortly after. Beyond those two looks, she’s also been a classic bleach blonde, jet black, and tried a black and red moment similar to her neon green. Now, she seems to have combined three of her previous looks into one ultra-original style.

On October 31, the singer posted a selfie to her Instagram story showing off her new hair. From an extreme high angle, we got to look down on her roots from above, seeing the four colors all swirling around her head.

Just like her neon green- and red-rooted hairstyles, this one had roots that were a different color than the bulk of her hair. The very beginning of her roots along the top of her head as well the around her ears were a bright cherry red. On the top of her head, the red didn’t jet out more than an inch or two, while near her ears, it was a little bit longer.

After the red dye, her hair quickly shifted into a bright, deep yellow. About twice as long as the length of the red, the amber-y color was the second part of the gradient, but it was only focused on the top of her crown and didn’t reach to the sides like the red.

The third color in the gradient was the same neon green as her OG colorful roots. After the few inches of yellow came a similar amount of green. The neon color was absent from the sides like yellow but continued farther onto her bangs than both other colors.

Jet-black was the fourth and final bright color in the gradient, filling the rest of her strands from the ends of the green to the ends of her hair.

Immediately after she posted the hair update, it went viral, with many commenting that the choice of color is similar to weather trackers on the morning news with the reds of severe weather and the greens and yellows of more moderate downfalls. It's a hilarious observation, though, most likely, the inspo was just a natural fusion of her green, red, and blonde hairstyles into a new look that only the likes of Billie Eilish could pull off.

To show off the new colors, she styled her hair in a messy, loose bun, leaving strands out on her sides and keeping her bangs down, framing her face. A Canadian tuxedo, chunky white shoes, and a small black purse finished her look—though, of course, our eyes were on the bright head of hair.
